Every year, thousands of talented and dedicated young people, ages 12-30, have an incredible experience in a New Generations program. New Generations refers to the youngest generation in the family of Rotary. Many are participants in Rotary’s youth and young adult programs: Interact (ages 12-18), Rotaract (18-30), Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange. Others are service-minded young people involved in Rotary club and district activities.
New Generations Service recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through leadership development activities, involvement in community and international service projects, and exchange programs that enrich and foster world peace and cultural understanding.
The Rotary Club of Covington sponsors Interact and Rotaract clubs throughout Newton County as well as sponsors youths to attend RYLA and provides opportunities for youths to travel abroad through the Rotary Youth Exchange. If you are interested in learning more about involvement, service or sponsorship with The New Generation Program, please email us at NewGenerations.
